The secluded islands to the east of St. John can only be reached by boat. BREATH is big and sturdy, with a lofty rig and a powerful engine, making her an excellent choice for all weather. She sets sails from Coral Bay, closest U.S. port to the protected waters and uninhabited cays of the Sir Francis Drake Channel.

Meet on the Coral Bay dock for an early morning sail up-channel to Tortola: Explore old Road Town...Then a fast beam reach to the "Indians", dramatic offshore rocks and snorkeler's mecca...Next, a fun lunch at the "William Thornton" an old Baltic Trader turned into a pirates' pub and moored at Norman Island...Then more snorkeling at the "The Treasure Caves", A British Virgin Islands favorite, with big schools of fish, in unusually clear water...Finally a sunset sail home to Coral Bay.

All B.V.I. trips meet at 8 am at the Coral Bay dock and stop briefly at Tortola to clear B.V.I. customs. Please bring passport, birth certificate or driver's license with picture. $75.00 (plus $10.00 customs fees) covers long day (8-6), open bar and snacks.
