BELLE MER
Belle Mer is a comfortable beach front villa in a gorgeous setting. The grand gallery offers gracious living and dining space, as well as a gourmet kitchen with top of the line GE Profile appliances. Two master suites are at opposite ends of the house for complete privacy (one bedroom has a King bed, the other a queen). Both have outdoor showers with ocean views. The third, queen bedroom has a private, second-story sitting deck and it's own full bath. Each bedroom has air-conditioning, though it is rarely needed since the cooling sea breezes flow through the house. The soothing sounds of the waves as they roll along the shore are guaranteed to induce relaxation in everyone who stays here.

Belle Mer is one of the few truly beach front villas on St. John. A white crushed marble walkway across the front lawn brings you to the beach for water sports activities. Rent a dingy or a kayak at Cruz Bay and park it at your front doorstep. Swimming or snorkeling in the calm azure waters of Klein Bay is always a delight. For hikers, there is a trail to the end of the Ditliff peninsula. For the more ambitious hiker, Reef Bay, a white sand beach that is part of the huge expanse of pristine National Park situated on the South Shore, is a forty-five minute hike away. A mere 10 minute drive takes you into Cruz Bay for shopping and dining, or, on out to the gorgeous North shore National Park beaches. |
